Biographical Information
- Wow! When Victoria originally
offered to do a web page for me I thought
"great" I can do one on my
business(es). Then, she said, "I was
thinking more of a personal web page. I want to
do one for all my friends." "Oh,"
I said, kind of disappointed. I mean, I was
really flattered but, hmmmm, what would I write
about? I looked at Victoria's web page that
afternoon to get ideas from her and her other
friends' pages. They were so fun and the people
were so interesting and creative... various
artists, a performance artist, a dancer, a PhD in
artificial intelligence.... It wasn't till the
fifth's or sixth's person's name that I saw she
had already posted the link to my page. It said
"Jennifer Nerad - Product Placement."
And, I thought "Yuck. How boring. Is that
what I'm all about?"

- From there, I guess you can say, I
went into a Jerry Maguire kind
of moment -- where he questioned what he stood
for, the values of his company, and where he was
in his life -- he really took a long look at
himself. I questioned these things, too. Who am I
really? What do I stand for and What do I want to
share that anyone who accessed could
read? Will it show the real me? Can it show parts
of me that you can't write about? Like, my
personality or smile? who am I really and is what
I am now what I truly want to be?
